This is our recommended day trip on the river Seven going from Bridgnorth to Arley. It is a 10.5 mile paddle downstream in a canoe or kayak.
Bridgnorth to Arley route description
After setting off from Bridgnorth you will start the 6 miles paddle to Hampton Loade where we would recommend having lunch at the River and Rail inn or taking a picnic to eat outdoors. The rest of the trip to Arley is a gentle 4.5 miles.
The return journey is on the Severn Valley Steam Railway, which delivers you back to the train station at Bridgnorth, a 10 minute walk from your start point.
