Canoe and Kayak Equipment

This page will give you an idea of what canoe and kayak equipment we have available for our customers to hire. Scroll down to see what will suit you best, and if you are not sure what to go for just get in touch using the contact form at the top of this page. You can also call us direct to speak to one of our experienced members of the team.

Canadian Canoes

The type of Canadian Canoe we use are mainly “Old Town” Canadian canoes that are superb for mixed ability and experienced canoeing groups. Old Town Canoes are lightweight open boats that are large enough to carry all the equipment you’ll need on your adventure holiday or team building event.

Our kayak fleet is made up with a mixture of sit-on-top kayaks and closed cockpit styles. Sit-on-tops are ideal for beginners with little experience. These are very stable on the water and if the paddler should capsize there is no cockpit to hold them under the water. Closed cockpit style kayaks are great for paddlers with a bit more experience.

Not sure whether to hire a canoe or kayak? Read more here about the differences between a canoe and a kayak. Simply give us a call and we will chat through what will be best for you and your group.
