Kayak Hire and Canoe Hire Wallingford
Canoe Hire Wallingford. Wallingford is a market town on the river Thames. Wallingford is on the west bank of the River Thames, downstream of Oxford and lies at the foot of the Chilterms. It is a great place to start or finish a canoe or kayak trip for all ages and abilities.
Currently we are not running our usual routes. Please see this page for what we are able to do at this current time.
Launch and Landing Points
The meet point and launch points will be explained to you once you have booked.
Don’t forget we also have the capability to provide canoe or kayak hire from any of our other landing points on the River Thames.
Getting through the Locks
You can either paddle through the locks or get out and carry your boats around. We would suggest that you paddle through the locks when the lock keeper is on duty and portage if the lock is unmanned.
When you are carrying your boats be sure to lift carefully and try not to scrape the bottoms of the boats along the ground if you can help it!
We are unbeatable on price. Check out our up to date pricing structure here.
All bookings need to fill out the form in the top right corner of this page for us to get right back to you with availability and pricing. If you just have a quick question however, call us direct on 01432 264 807.

Kayak Hire & Canoe Hire Wallingford
For a short day’s hire, paddling from Goring to Reading which is roughly a 4 hour trip.
Alternatively, for a full day’s hire we recommend paddling from Wallingford to Pangbourne.
For a weekend trip we would recommend Oxford to Reading. This is a great two-day paddle where you will see a beautiful stretch of the Thames Valley, passing through the historic towns of Wallingford, Pangbourne, Henley and Marlow.
