Ultimate Canoe and kayak is able to deliver a wide range of kayaking and canoeing qualifications for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re just starting out or already an establish instructor looking to forward your career we can help. Personal skills

Paddle start Award

This award is designed to provide a framework for a paddlers first sessions. Its is very much an encouragement award and delivered as a taster session with the focus on fun and achievement.

BCU Star Awards

The Star awards aim to give the paddler a wider range of knowledge about the different craft available and work through the skills required in order to paddle those craft safety and effectively.

Foundation Safety and Rescue Training (FSRT)

Designed for all paddlers irrespective of craft with the objective to teach simple and safe skills that can be applied appropriately. The two main aims of the course is to provide paddlers with the knowledge to firstly initiate a self rescue and secondly to assist other in difficulty.

Coaching
